Love on a Leash®

The Music City chapter was founded in September 2015. The chapter coordinates approximately 12 group visits each month at senior living facilities, special needs classrooms, schools, hospitals, doctor’s offices, and libraries in Davidson and the surrounding counties (Rutherford, Sumner, Wilson, Williamson, Cheatham and Robertson). Many members also visit other sites independently and several do hospice visits as well. The chapter feels great pride in getting to serve the Nashville community and surrounding areas.

Meet Our Leader

Rebecca Pyle has been a member of Love on a Leash since 2017 and the Music City chapter leader since April of 2020. She lives in Antioch with her husband and is certified with two (Connelly and Nora) of her five rescue cats. Rebecca has 15 years of experience in the veterinary field and when she is not working part-time or volunteering with Love on a Leash, she enjoys taking vacations to Disney World or zoos with her husband. Her favorite part about volunteering with Love on a Leash is seeing people's reactions to seeing therapy cats in addition to the dogs.
